Our client's internal documentation team had been undergoing frequent turnover and changes which meant that the standard form documents had lost their integrity, legal were concerned about the quality of the service being provided and the continual loss of know-how. A decision was made to streamline the internal function and make use of our team to provide additional assistance on an on-going basis.

Working closely alongside the internal function we assisted in creating templates and policies and in creating a know-how database at the same time as negotiating commodity master agreements in the pipeline. By tapping into our resources, our client was effectively able to take on a number of novation projects as part of its routine function and manage these without disruption to the negotiation and execution of master agreements in the pipeline.

As a result of the success of this arrangement we also assisted with non-European documentation, financial trading documentation aswell as a complete novation of the trading function to a newly formed and regulated entity.
